My Underwater Photos !!!

Here are some of the photos I took using Nikonos V. These photos are taken in Pulau Sipadan, East Malaysia.

Trident Shell

The person holding the shell is my dive buddy, Alex.

Sea Horse

This sea horse was difficult to find. They usually stay in shallow waters.

Crocodile Fish

This is the head of a crocodile fish. Looks ugly right?

Bat Fishes

Black and white. I find this pair of bat fish very interesting. One looks black and the other is in the normal colour.

A School of Cat fish

This photo of a school of cat fish is taken in shallow waters also.

Cat Fish

This is a close-up view of a cat fish.

Cleaner Shrimp

I think this cleaner shrimp was pregnant. It has greenish eggs under it's belly.

Mystery Creature

Mystery Creature. I said creature because I believe this isn't a fish but an eel. I took this picture by chance in Pulau Hantu. This "fish" is green in colour with patches of purplish patterns all over the body. The first time I saw this creature, I took this picture. That was way back in 1993, 4th of October. The second time I saw this creature at Pulau Senang (when there was no live firing exercise), it swam out of the hole and my God, I was shock to see this eel which is about 1 metre long. The tail end is more purplish than green. My buddy Steven (from NTU Scuba Diving Club) saw it too. Unfortunately, I did not have my camera with me. Despite of this picture, I may be wrong and this could really be a fish. But so far, I have asked so many people and no one has ever seen such a fish or eel. Well, if you can identify this fish, please tell me.
